Remove the lumbar support knob.

Install the lumbar support knob.

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Head Restraint Replacement.

Important: The lumbar knob (1) is a single use component and must be replaced after removal.

3. Using a suitable tool, remove the lumbar knob (1) from the seat assembly (2).
4. Remove the lumbar mechanism screws (3).
5. Remove the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement.



6. Remove the front seat back padding (1) from the seat frame (2).
7. Using a suitable tool, remove the lumbar support mechanism (3) from the seat frame (2) by disengaging the clips (4) and un-hooking the lumbar wires (5).

1. Engage the lumbar support mechanism (3) onto the front seat frame (2), by engaging the clips (4) and the inserting the lumbar wires (5).
2. Install the seat back padding (1) onto the seat frame (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Important: The lumbar knob (1) is a single use component and must be replaced after removal.




3. Install the lumbar mechanism screws (3).

Tighten
Tighten the lumbar mechanism screws to 3.0 N·m (2.21 lb ft).

4. Install the lumbar knob (1) onto the seat assembly (2).
5. Install the front seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement.
6. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Head Restraint Replacement.
7. Install the front buck seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
