Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2000578 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement.
  3. Remove the auxiliary HVAC resistor. Refer to Auxiliary Blower Motor Resistor Replacement.
  4. Disconnect the auxiliary blower motor electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the auxiliary blower motor fasteners (1).
  6. Remove the auxiliary blower motor (2) from the auxiliary HVAC module (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2000578 Size: SH
  1. Install the auxiliary blower motor (2) into the auxiliary HVAC module (3).
  2. Connect the auxiliary blower motor electrical connectors.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the auxiliary blower motor fasteners (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the auxiliary blower motor fasteners to 2.5 N·m (23 lb in)

  4. Install the rear auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement.
  5. Install the auxiliary HVAC resistor. Refer to Auxiliary Blower Motor Resistor Replacement.
  6. Install the auxiliary air distributor duct. Refer to Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement.
  7. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
  8. Check the system operation.
