Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
  2. Remove the oil pan and the gasket.
  3. Remove the oil pan filter and the seal.

    4. Object Number: 104252 Size: SH
  4. Remove the reverse oil pipe retainer.
  5. Remove the governor oil pipe retainer.

    6. Object Number: 104253 Size: SH
  6. Remove the intermediate band servo cover.
  7. Remove the intermediate band servo cover gasket.

    8. Object Number: 104255 Size: SH
  8. Remove the accumulator exhaust valve.
  9. Remove the accumulator exhaust spring.

    10. Object Number: 104288 Size: SH
  10. Remove the intermediate servo piston inner ring.
  11. Remove the snap ring.
  12. Remove the servo piston.
  13. Remove the intermediate servo piston outer ring.

    14. Object Number: 104307 Size: SH
  14. Remove the intermediate band servo piston spring.
  15. Remove the piston spring retainer.
  16. Remove the piston pin.
  17. Remove the intermediate band servo pin seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 104307 Size: SH
  1. Install the intermediate band servo pin seal.
  2. Install the intermediate band piston pin.
  3. Install the piston spring retainer.
  4. Install the piston spring.

    5. Object Number: 104288 Size: SH
  5. Install the intermediate servo piston outer ring.
  6. Install the servo piston.
  7. Install the snap ring.
  8. Install the intermediate servo piston inner ring.

    9. Object Number: 104255 Size: SH
  9. Install the accumulator exhaust spring.
  10. Install the accumulator exhaust valve.

    11. Object Number: 104253 Size: SH
  11. Install the intermediate band servo cover gasket.
  12. Install the intermediate band servo cover.

    13. Object Number: 104252 Size: SH
  13. Install the governor oil pipe retainer.
  14. Install the reverse oil pipe retainer.
  15. Install the oil pan, the oil pan filter, and the seal.
  16. Lower the vehicle.
  17. Adjust the oil level.
