Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid and Wiring Harness Assemble for Chevrolet Cavalier 1996
- Inspect the TCC solenoid
(353) for damage or for cut wires.
- Inspect the wiring harness assembly (339) for nicks, cuts, or
damaged connectors.

seal ring (337) onto the TCC solenoid (333).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners

replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolt
(334).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 11 N·m (98 lb in).
