Tools Required

1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle . Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.
2. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission. Refer to Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Pipes Replacement .



3. Install the J 41239-2 into the cooler line seal.



4. Remove the oil cooler line seals. Use the J 6125-1B and the J 6471 .

Tools Required:

J 41239-1A Cooler Pipe Seal Installer

1. Install the J 41239-1A on the transmission case using cooler line bracket bolt.



2. Install a new seal in the case bore.
3. Press the new seals in. Tighten the cooler line bracket bolt until the seal bottoms out in the case bore.
4. Install the transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Pipes Replacement .
5. Lower the vehicle.
