DEFINITION: Gears are clashing and/or grinding in all speeds

Inspect the transaxle fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check

Fill as necessary.

Do the gears still grind or clash?

Go to Step 2

System OK

1. Check the clutch spin down time. Refer to Clutch Spin Down Time
2. Adjust as necessary.

Do the gears still grind or clash?

Go to Step 3

System OK

Check the clutch master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Fluid in Clutch.

Fill as necessary.

Do the gears still grind or clash?

Go to Step 4

System OK

1. Check the following components for signs of excessive wear or bluing of metal. Some wear is normal.

•	The blocker ring

•	The blocker cone

2. Adjust, repair, or replace components as necessary.
