Fog Lamp Switch Replacement Chevrolet
Removal Procedure
- Remove the instrument
panel accessory trim plate to access the fog lamp switch. Refer to
Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement
in Instrument
Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Release the retainers on the fog lamp/dimmer switch housing using
a small flat-bladed tool.
- Remove the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing from the
instrument panel accessory trim plate.
- Release the retainers on the fog lamp switch using a small flat-bladed
tool.
- Remove the fog lamp switch from the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3)
housing.
Installation Procedure
- Install the fog lamp switch
to the fog lamp/dimmer switch housing, pressing into place until fully seated.
- Install the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing to the instrument
panel accessory trim plate, pressing into place until fully seated.
- Install the to the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer
to

in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Fog Lamp Switch Replacement Pontiac
Removal Procedure
- Remove the fog lamp/dimmer
switch trim plate from the instrument panel using a small flat-bladed tool.
- Disconnect the electrical
connectors from the fog lamp/dimmer switches.
- Remove the fog lamp/dimmer
switch bulb using a small flat-bladed tool turning counterclockwise, if required.
- Release the retainer tabs
on the fog lamp switch using a small flat-bladed tool on the back side.
- Remove the fog lamp switch
from the trim plate.
Installation Procedure
- Install the fog lamp switch
to the trim plate pressing into place until fully seated.
- Install the fog lamp/dimmer
switch bulb using a small flat-bladed tool turning clockwise, if required.
- Connect the electrical
connectors to the fog lamp/dimmer switches.
- Install the fog lamp/dimmer
switch trim plate to the instrument panel pressing into place until fully
seated.
