Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door stationary window. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement .
  3. Remove the reveal molding retaining screw.
  4. Starting at the front of the door, pull the molding out of the window frame track.
  5. Remove the reveal molding from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the reveal molding to the window frame track.
  2. Starting at the rear corner, press the reveal molding into the track.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the reveal molding screw.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the reveal molding screw to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  6. Install the stationary window. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement .
  7. Install the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
