  1. Disconnect the left power window/door lock switch connector C1 and C2.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Using the appropriate probe from the J35616-A connector test adapter kit connect a test lamp between CKT 1001 (DK GRN) connector C2 cavity F and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1001 (DK GRN) between the left power window/door lock switch and the power window circuit breaker located in the left bussed electrical center (LBEC).

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

  1. Ensure the power window switch is in the neutral position.
  2. Connect a self powered test lamp between CKT 1850 (BLK) connector C1 cavity M and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

  1. Reconnect connectors C1 and C2 to the power window switch.
  2. Disconnect the left power window motor connector.
  3. Connect a test lamp between cavities A or B to ground.
  4. Ensure the ignition is in the RUN position.
  5. Operate the switch in the up and the down direction.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the left power window motor. Refer to Door Window Regulator Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1850 (BLK) between the left power window/door switch and G203.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Back probe the left power window switch connector C2 cavities A or M with a test light to ground.
  2. Operate the switch in the up and the down direction.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair the open in CKT 164 (DK BLU) or CKT 165 (BRN) respectfully.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Replace the left power window/door lock switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
