  1. Disconnect the Memory Seat Switch.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit at the Memory Seat Switch and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Reconnect the Memory Seat Switch.
  2. Disconnect the Memory Seat Module.
  3. Turn the ignition ON with the engine OFF.
  4. Place the vehicle in PARK.
  5. Connect a test lamp between the park switch input at the Memory Seat Module connector and a good ground.

Did the test lamp illuminate?

Using a test lamp connected to a good ground, test each respective switch signal circuit at the Memory Seat Module connector for battery positive voltage while operating the Memory Seat Switch .

Connect a test lamp between the ignition 3 voltage at the Memory Seat Module connector and a good ground.
