Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery cables. Refer to Battery Cable Disconnect and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the fasteners (1) from the panel.
  3. Move the panel (2) out far enough to gain access to the harness connections.

  4. Disconnect the voltmeter gage bulb and harness connectors (3) from the gage.
  5. Disconnect the blackout (B/O) harness connectors (1) from the switches.
  6. Disconnect the air line (2) from the air filter restriction gage (if equipped).
  7. Remove the panel (4) from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the parts from the accessory panel. Refer to Blackout Lamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems or Voltmeter Gage Replacement or Air Cleaner Filter Restriction Gage Replacement .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1694853 Size: SH
  1. Install the parts removed from the accessory panel. Refer to Blackout Lamp Switch Replacement in Lighting Systems or Voltmeter Gage Replacement or Air Cleaner Filter Restriction Gage Replacement .
  2. Install the connectors (1) to the blackout (B/O) switches.
  3. Install the connector and bulb (3) to the voltmeter gage.
  4. Connect the air line (2) on to the air filter restriction gage.

  5. Install the accessory panel (2) onto the dash.

    6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  6. Install the fasteners (1) and tighten.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten accessory panel bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
