Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Suitably support the front propeller shaft.

    3. Object Number: 258710 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts and clamps at the transmission yoke and remove the front shaft from the yoke. Refer to Three-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
  4. Loosen the bolts at the park brake drum.
  5. Turn the Ignition ON and release the parking brake.
  6. Remove the park brake drum assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the park brake drum and turn ignition OFF.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 128.5 N·m (95 lb ft).

  2. Install the front propeller shaft to the transmission yoke with the clamps and the bolts. Refer to Three-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
  3. Adjust the parking brake. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Adjustment .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
