Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 361733 Size: SH
  1. Install the electrical BTSI actuator.
  2. Install the gear shift lever and put the column in the neutral position.

    3. Object Number: 324912 Size: SH
  3. Adjust the electrical BTSI actuator.
    4. 3.1. Pull the tab (1) out on the block side (2) of the electrical BTSI actuator.
    3.2. Press on the adjuster block (2) to compress the internal adjuster spring to disengage the adjuster teeth. Slide the adjuster block as far away from the solenoid as possible.
    3.3. Lock in place by pushing the tab (1) back in.
  4. Inspect the electrical BTSI actuator.
    5. 4.1. The electrical BTSI actuator must lock the gear shift lever when it is put into the park position.
    4.2. When the column is installed in the vehical you will not be able to shift the gear shift lever out of the park position without pressing on the brake pedal. The solenoid will be energized.
    4.3. Readjust if needed.
  5. Install the lock module assembly. Refer to Electronic Column Lock Module - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  6. Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
