Rear Side Door Window Module Replacement Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the window glass.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the window motor electrical connector.
  5. Loosen the two window clamp bolts on the regulator.
  6. Remove the bolts retaining the window regulator to the door.

  7. Object Number: 581720  Size: SH
  8. Remove the module from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 581720  Size: SH
  1. Install the module to the door.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolts retaining the regulator to the door.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (7 lb ft).

  5. Align the window to the regulator, and tighten the clamp bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp bolts to 9 N·m (7 lb ft).

  7. Connect the window motor electrical connector.
  8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  9. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Rear Side Door Window Module Replacement Suburban/Yukon XL/Avalanche/Escld Ext

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the window glass. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  4. Remove the window sash.
  5. Remove the glass weatherstrip.

  6. Object Number: 581730  Size: SH
  7. Remove the module from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 581730  Size: SH
  1. Install the module to the door.
  2. Install the glass weatherstrip.
  3. Install the window sash.
  4. Install the window glass. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  5. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
