Removal Procedure
  1. Lower the front door window to the full down position.
  2. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.

    3. Object Number: 589885 Size: SH
  3. Pull enough of the window run channel from the applique to access the front door frame applique screws (2).

    4. Remove the front door frame applique screws (2) from the door frame.

  4. Remove the front door frame applique (1) from the door frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 589885 Size: SH
  1. Install the front door frame applique (1) to the front door frame.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the front door frame applique screws (2) to the front door frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front door frame applique screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  3. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
