Caution: Do not attempt to repair or alter the head impact energy-absorbing material glued to the headliner or to the garnish trims. If the material is damaged, replace the headliner and/or the garnish trim. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  3. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  4. Remove the roof rail assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  6. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement .

  7. Object Number: 282443  Size: SH
  8. Disconnect the headlining trim finish panel wire harness connectors.
  9. Remove the headlining trim finish panel rear retainers (1).
  10. Remove the headlining trim finish panel (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 282443  Size: SH
  1. Install the headlining trim finish panel (2) into the vehicle.
  2. Install the headlining trim finish panel rear retainer (1).
  3. Connect the headlining trim finish panel wire harness connectors.
  4. Install the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement .
  5. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  6. Install the roof rail assist handles. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
  7. Install the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
  8. Install the windshield side upper garnish moldings. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  9. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
