Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 97627 Size: SH
  1. Remove starter from vehicle. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement Starter Motor Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the field lead.
  3. Remove the solenoid to drive housing attaching screws and remove the solenoid by twisting.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 97627 Size: SH
  1. Twist the solenoid into position and install the attaching screws.
  2. Install the field strap.
  3. Install starter to engine. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement Starter Motor Replacement .
