Inspect the clutch release bearing for binding.

Is there binding on the clutch release bearing?

Lubricate and free-up the clutch release bearing or replace the clutch actuator. Refer to Clutch Actuator Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch pedal still stay on the floor when disengaged?

Check to see if the master cylinder pushrod has fallen off the clutch pedal.

Has the master cylinder pushrod fallen off the clutch pedal?

Correctly install the master cylinder pushrod. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch pedal still stay on the floor when disengaged?

Check the hydraulic hose for a hole or leaks.

Is the hose OK?

Replace the hydraulic hose. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch pedal still stay on the floor when disengaged?

Check the hydraulic fluid in the reservoir.

Is the reservoir full?

Fill the reservoir with fluid.

Inspect the master cylinder seal and the master cylinder center valve seal.
