Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the clutch pressure plate and the clutch disc. Refer to Clutch Pressure and Driven Plate Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 14297 Size: SH
  2. Remove the clutch release bearing retainer.
  3. Remove the clutch release bearing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 14297 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the release bearing and the ball stud with GM P/N 1052346 or the equivalent.
  2. Install the clutch release bearing.

    3. Important: The retainer must be installed with the tangs facing away from the engine.

  3. Install the clutch release bearing retainer.
  4. Install the clutch disc and the clutch pressure plate. Refer to Clutch Pressure and Driven Plate Replacement .
