Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 82205  Size: SH
  1. Repeat steps 1 through 9 in the Lower Shroud, Upper Shroud Removal Procedure. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement - Off Vehicle .
  2. Remove the two pan head tapping screws from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
  3. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly from the column.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 82205  Size: SH
  1. Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly onto the steering column housing.
  2. Install the two pan head tapping screws.
  3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 6.0 N·m (53 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Repeat steps 1 through 11 in the Lower Shroud, Upper Shroud Installation Procedure. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement - Off Vehicle .
