- Disconnect the engine coolant level indicator switch.
- Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal B of the
engine coolant level indicator switch connector and ground.
Is the resistance within the specified range?

- Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 150.
- If CKT 150 is OK, replace the splice pack #100 (SP100).

- Connect the engine coolant level indicator switch.
- Disconnect the underhood electrical center connector C3.
- Move the engine coolant level indicator switch so that it is in
the CLOSED position.
- Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal D9 of the
underhood electrical center connector C3 and ground.
Is the resistance within the specified range?
| Less than 2 ohms

- Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 68.
- If CKT 68 is OK, replace the engine coolant level indicator switch.

- Connect the underhood electrical center connector C3.
- Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
- Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal A8 of the
instrument cluster connector and ground.
Is the resistance within the specified range?

- Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 68.
- If CKT 68 is OK, replace the underhood electrical center.
