  1. Disconnect the park brake switch connector.
  2. Use a fused jumper to connect the park brake switch connector to a known good ground.

Does the park brake indicator turn ON?

Replace the park brake switch.

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  2. Use a DMM to measure the resistance between the park brake switch connector and terminal A6 of the instrument cluster connector.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

Less than 2 ohms

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 33.
