Front Seat Back Cushion Side Bolster Bladder Replacement Paddle First Design

The first design side bolster bladders are attached to paddles riveted to the seatback. The bladders are serviced separately from the lumbar bladders.

1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster .



2. Remove the seatback insert pillow, cover and foam. Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .



3. Remove the hose connector from the pump.



4. Drill out the rivets attaching the paddle to the seatback frame.



5. Remove the paddle with bladder.

1. Rivet the paddle with bladder to the seatback frame.



2. Install the hose connector to the pump.
3. Install the seatback foam, cover, and pillow insert. Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .



4. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Power with Adjuster .

Front Seat Back Cushion Side Bolster Bladder Replacement Second Design

The second design side bolster bladders are part of the lumbar/lateral support bladder system. The removal procedure is the same as the removal procedure for the second design lumbar bladders. Refer to Lumbar Bladder Replacement .
