Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 191038  Size: SH
  1. Remove the console from the vehicle. Refer to Console Replacement .
  2. Open the console door.
  3. Remove the screws retaining the console door to the door hinge.
  4. Remove the console door.

  5. Object Number: 191034  Size: SH
  6. Remove the nuts retaining the hinge to the console.
  7. Remove the hinge from the console.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 191034  Size: SH
  1. Position the console door hinge to the console.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts retaining the door hinge to the console.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the console door hinge retaining nuts to 2.4 N·m (21 lb in).

  5. Position the console door to the door hinge.
  6. Insert both door alignment pins into the hinge alignment holes.

  7. Install the screws retaining the console door to the door hinge.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the console door retaining screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

  9. Install the console to the vehicle. Refer to Console Replacement .
