Notice: Prying against the folding top rails could result in damage to parts.

Tip
Manual operation of the power convertible top cannot be attempted for 5 minutes from the last time the convertible top button was pressed. This will allow the hydraulic pressure to bleed off.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Lift and release the front and rear sections of the folding top cover. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
2. Position the folding top with the number one bow and the number five bow up, to access fasteners and minimize tension on pins and linkage.

Folding Top Rear Lower Weatherstrip

Tip

1. Loosen the front edge of the weatherstrip.
2. Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to assist in the removal.

Use a lint free cloth and (VMP) Naphtha or a 50/50 mixture, by volume of isopropyl alcohol and water to remove the adhesive.

3. Dry the area thoroughly.
4. When reinstalling the weatherstrip ensure that the edge of the weatherstrip and the corners are in align.
