J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the charge air cooler coolant system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling
2. Remove upper intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement



3. Disconnect the quick connect fitting (1) at the cooler. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
4. Remove the charge air cooler coolant hose (2) from the cooler.
5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
6. Remove the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement



7. Disengage tension on the charge air cooler coolant hose clamp (1) using J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
8. Remove the charge air cooler coolant hose (2) from the pump.
9. Remove the charge air cooler coolant hose from the vehicle.

1. Install the charge air cooler coolant hose to the vehicle.



2. Install the charge air cooler coolant hose (2) to the pump.
3. Engage tension on the charge air cooler coolant hose clamp (1) using J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers
4. Install the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
5. Lower the vehicle.



6. Install the charge air cooler coolant hose (2) to the cooler.
7. Connect the quick connect fitting (1) at the cooler. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
8. Install upper intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement
9. Fill the charge air cooler coolant system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling
