Preliminary Procedure

Remove the rear spoiler assembly. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement.

Rear End Spoiler Stud (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
Hand tighten the two studs back into the rear spoiler assembly after the high mount stop lamp has been positioned into the spoiler pocket.

High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly

Tip
Service the high mount stop lamp as an assembly.

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove both inner tail lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
2. Reach inside the tail lamp holes and remove the four nuts securing the rear spoiler to the rear bumper fascia.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Rear Spoiler Stud (Qty: 4)

Tip
Remove the center two studs in order to separate the CHMSL from the rear spoiler.

Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL)

Tip
Remove the two inner studs from the rear spoiler in order to separate the CHMSL from the rear spoiler.

Rear Spoiler

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)
