Tools Required

KM-507-C Ball Joint Remover

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the rear wheels.
3. Remove the upper arm nut-to-rear knuckle using KM-507-C .



4. Remove the front, trailing and rear parallel link. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement and Trailing Arm Replacement .
5. Remove the hub. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Backing Plate Replacement .
6. Remove the strut bolt-to-knuckle.
7. Remove the rear knuckle.

1. Install the hub into the rear knuckle. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Backing Plate Replacement .
2. Install the front and rear parallel link. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement and Trailing Arm Replacement .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the upper arm nut-to-rear knuckle.

Tighten
Tighten the upper arm nut-to-rear knuckle to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).
