Preliminary Procedure

Remove the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement.

Windshield Wiper Motor Crank Arm Nut

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip
Align the wiper motor crank arm parallel to the windshield wiper transmission links prior to installing the nut.

Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip
Ensure the windshield wiper motor plate is re-installed prior to the wiper motor bolt installation.
