1. Visually inspect the tape player's tape compartment.
2. Gently remove any obstruction or debris.
3. Attempt to play a known good cassette tape.

Does the cassette player accept and play the tape?

Send the radio in for repair of the tape player.

Refer to Radio Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

Tape player is operating properly.

Advise customer that the possible cause of problem is a defective cassette or debris in player.
