Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement All Except Luxury

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 551179  Size: MH
  1. Partially remove the seat cushion cover in order to gain access to the seat belt buckle retaining bolt.
  2. Remove the seat belt buckle retaining bolt from the seat frame.
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 551179  Size: MH
  1. Install the seat belt buckle to the seat frame.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the seat belt buckle retaining bolt to the seat frame.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt buckle retaining bolt to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  5. Install the seat cushion cover to the seat frame.

Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement Luxury (Y91)

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.

  2. Object Number: 162219  Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt from the seat frame.

  4. Object Number: 162216  Size: SH
  5. Remove the seat belt buckle and latch through the seat back.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 162216  Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt buckle and latch through the seat back.

  2. Object Number: 162219  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   3. Install the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt to the seat frame.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt buckle and latch retaining bolt to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear bench seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement in Seats.
