Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
3. Remove the inside sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.

Front Door Weatherstrip Seal Retainer Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Door Weatherstrip Seal Retainer Rivets (Qty: 7)

Tip
Drill out the rivets from around the upper door frame.

Front Door Weatherstrip Seal Retainer

Tip
Pull the weatherstrip retainer upward, slightly twisting weatherstrip retainer to clear the outer sealing strip.
