Preliminary Procedure Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement. Note: Leave the left temperature actuator attached to the air inlet assembly. Remove the air inlet assembly. Refer to Air Inlet Assembly Replacement.
1	Mode Valve Assembly Screw (Qty: 7) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tip Remove the heat stakes that secure the mode valve assembly to the HVAC module assembly upper case using a small chisel. Tighten 1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

Note: Leave the left temperature actuator attached to the air inlet assembly.

Mode Valve Assembly Screw (Qty: 7)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Remove the heat stakes that secure the mode valve assembly to the HVAC module assembly upper case using a small chisel.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)
