Notice: Do not remove the bolts and/or screws which hold the body together.

1. Remove the case side cover pan. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .



2. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness, as needed.



3. Remove the pump bolts.
4. Inspect the pump. Refer to Oil Pump Disassemble .

1. Install the pump on the valve body.
2. Install the bolts.

Tighten

1. Tighten the top and bottom bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).
2. Tighten the remaining bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

3. Connect the electrical wiring harness.



4. Install the case side cover pan. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
5. Adjust the fluid level.
