Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Assemble - Off Vehicle Column Shift

1. Install the steering column lock cylinder set (1) to the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly following these steps:

Important: Use care not to damage the wires when pushing through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

1.1.	Push the terminal of pass key wire harness (5) through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

1.2.	Install the steering column lock cylinder set (1) into the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

1.3.	Install the retaining clip (4).

1.4.	Install the terminal pass key wire harness (5) to the vehicle wire harness.

1.5.	Install the lock retaining screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the lock retaining screw 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

1.6.	Insert the key into the steering column lock cylinder set (1).

1.7.	Put the key in the normal position.

1.8.	Install the buzzer switch assembly (3).

1.9.	Reinsert the key into the steering column lock cylinder set (1).

2. Install the turn signal switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
