Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors in Engine Cooling.

  2. Object Number: 293575  Size: LH
  3. Remove the bolt which fastens the lower support (2) on the front bumper fascia to the bumper fascia support upper.
  4. Drill out the rivets (3) from the bumper fascia lower support (2).
  5. Remove the lower support (2) from the front bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower support (2) to the front bumper fascia.

  2. Object Number: 293575  Size: LH

    Important: Install the center rivet first on the base coupe and the sedan model vehicles.

  3. Install the rivets (3) to the lower support of the front bumper fascia.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the front bumper fascia lower support to upper support bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the front bumper fascia lower support to upper support bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  7. Install the lower air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors in Engine Cooling.
