  1. Inspect the left low beam headlamp bulb for damage or an open filament.
  2. Inspect the left low headlamp connector for damage or poor connection.

Are the headlamp bulbs and connectors OK?

Go to Step 2

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  2. Turn the headlamp dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  3. Using a test lamp, backprobe between the left headlamp harness connector terminal A and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 12 between S104 and the left low beam headlamp harness connector terminal A.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Headlight System Check

Using a test lamp, backprobe between the left low beam headlamp harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair the poor connection or an open in circuit 1350 between the left low beam headlamp harness connector terminal  B and G101.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Headlight System Check

Replace the left low beam headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .

Has the repair been made?

Go to Headlight System Check

Replace the damaged component.
