Inspect the inside rearview mirror bulb filament(s). Refer to Rearview Mirror Lamp Replacement .

Is the bulb filament open?

Go to Step  5

Go to Step  2

1. Disconnect the inside rearview mirror electrical connector.
2. Using a test lamp probe between the inside rearview mirror electrical harness connector terminal C and the ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step  3

Go to Step  6

1. Open any vehicle door.
2. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF to the RUN position.
3. Using a test lamp probe between the inside rearview mirror harness connector terminals A and C.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step  4

Go to Step  7

Using a test lamp probe between the inside rearview mirror harness connector terminals B and C.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step  8

Go to Step  9

Replace the inside rearview mirror bulb(s). Refer to Rearview Mirror Lamp Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step  10

Repair a poor connection or open in circuit 240.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step  10

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 156 between S392 and the inside rearview mirror connector terminal A.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step  10

1. Inspect the inside rearview mirror electrical connector for poor terminal contact.
2. Replace the inside rearview mirror if connection is OK. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement in Stationary Windows.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step  10

Repair the poor connection or open in circuit 150.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step  10

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Reconnect any of the connectors or components that were removed.
