1. Turn OFF the instrument panel dimmer switch.
2. Turn OFF the inside rearview mirror reading lights.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
4. Open and close all vehicle doors one at a time while observing the courtesy lamps.

1. The courtesy lights turn ON when any door is open.
2. The courtesy lights turn OFF when all of the doors are closed.

1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Turn the instrument panel dimmer switch to the DOME position, then OFF, while observing the courtesy lights.

1. The courtesy lights turn ON when the instrument panel dimmer switch is in the DOME position.
2. The courtesy lights turn OFF when the instrument panel dimmer switch is OFF.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Open a vehicle door for at least 5  seconds, then close the door.
3. Observe the courtesy lights.

The courtesy lights turn ON and stay on for 16 seconds, then fade to OFF after the last door is closed.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Open and leave any vehicle door open for at least 10  minutes.

The courtesy lights turn OFF when any door is left open for more than 10  minutes, with the ignition switch in the OFF position.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
3. Open a vehicle door for at least 5 seconds.
4. Close all vehicle doors; then, turn the ignition switch to the RUN position within 16  seconds after the last door is closed.

The sustained interior lighting feature cancels (courtesy lights turn OFF) when the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position.

1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Turn OFF the instrument panel dimmer switch.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
4. Turn ON, then OFF the inside rearview mirror reading light switches.

1. The inside rearview mirror reading lights turn ON when the switches are ON.
2. The inside rearview mirror reading lights turn OFF when the switches are OFF.

Open then close the instrument panel compartment while observing the instrument panel compartment lamp.

Open then close the rear compartment lid while observing the rear compartment lamp.

1. The rear compartment lamp turns ON when the rear compartment lid is open.
2. The rear compartment lamp turns OFF when the rear compartment lid is closed.
