Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

    3. Object Number: 293875 Size: SH
  3. Cut off the outside handle rod-to-lock clip from the lock using side cutters.
  4. Unscrew the remainder of the clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Discard the clip.

    6. Object Number: 294862 Size: SH
  6. Drill out the outside door handle rivets (2).
  7. Remove the outside door handle from the handle rod and the door (2,3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 294862 Size: SH
  1. Attach the outside door handle rod to the door handle (2,3).
  2. Install the outside door handle and the rod to the door (2,3).
  3. Install the rivets securing the outside door handle to the door (2).

    4. Object Number: 293875 Size: SH
  4. Snap a new outside handle rod-to-lock clip onto the door lock lever.
  5. Position the outside door handle rod in the clip to remove any free play to the outside door handle.
  6. Snap the clip cover closed over the threaded outside door handle rod.
  7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
