Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the endgate liner. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Liner Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2008004 Size: SH
  2. Remove the endgate latch assembly to endgate retaining screws (3).

    3. Important: Extend the endgate latch assembly (2) away from the endgate and slide the endgate overslam bumper (1) off the endgate latch assembly (2).

  3. Remove the endgate overslam bumper (1) from the endgate latch assembly (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2008005 Size: SH

    Important: Extend the endgate latch assembly (2) away from the endgate and slide the endgate overslam bumper (1) onto the endgate latch assembly (2).

  1. Install the endgate overslam bumper (1) to the endgate latch assembly (2).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the endgate latch assembly to endgate retaining screws (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the endgate liner. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Liner Replacement.
