Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1234158 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside handle rod (3) by removing the rivet (5) from the inside door handle (1). Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door lock (4). Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  5. Unclip the handle rod retainer (2). Remove the front door inside handle rod from the door lock.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1234158 Size: SH
  1. Hook the handle rod (3) to the door lock.
  2. Install the front door lock  (4). Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  3. Install the front door inside handle rod (3) to the front door inside door handle.
  4. Secure the front door inside handle rods with the retainer clips (2).
  5. Rivet the door handle into place.
  6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  7. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
