An improperly adjusted switch

Adjust the switch.

Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .

An internally damaged or worn switch

  1. Hold the plunger in all of the way.
  2. Inspect the continuity on the switch between the light green and the tan switch terminals.
  3. Replace the switch if the continuity does not exist.
  4. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle or Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .

The connector is loose at the switch.

Inspect the connector and the switch, replace as necessary.
