Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Disassemble - Off Vehicle Floor Shift

1. Remove the turn signal switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Remove the buzzer switch assembly (3).
3. Reinsert the key into the steering column lock cylinder set (1).
4. Put the key in the lock position.
5. Remove the lock retaining screw (2).
6. Remove the steering column lock cylinder set (1) following these steps:

Important: Use care not to damage the wires when pulling through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

6.1.	Remove the terminal pass key wire harness (5) from the vehicle wire harness.

6.2.	Attach a length of mechanics wire to the terminal pass key wire harness (5) for reassembly.

6.3.	Remove the retaining clip (4).

6.4.	Remove the steering column lock cylinder set (1) from the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

6.5.	Pull the terminal of pass key wire harness (5) through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Disassemble - Off Vehicle Column Shift

1. Remove the turn signal switch assembly. Refer to Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Remove the buzzer switch assembly (3).
3. Reinsert the key into the steering column lock cylinder set (1).
4. Put the key in the lock position.
5. Remove the lock retaining screw (2).
6. Remove the steering column lock cylinder set (1) following these steps:

6.1.	Remove the terminal pass key wire harness (5) from the vehicle wire harness.

6.2.	Attach a length of mechanics wire to the terminal pass key wire harness (5) for reassembly.

6.3.	Remove the retaining clip (4).

6.4.	Remove the steering column lock cylinder set (1) from the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.

6.5.	Pull the terminal of pass key wire harness (5) through the lock housing cover and sleeve assembly.
