Cruise Control Cable for Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1998

1. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle then from the cruise control module. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
2. Ensure the cruise control cable moves in and out of the cruise control cable casing freely and smoothly.
3. Replace any sticking or binding cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement .
4. Replace the cruise control cable if the adjuster lock does not hold under normal operating conditions. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement or Cruise Control Cable Replacement
