Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 292167  Size: MH
  4. Open the child seat (2).
  5. Remove the trim from the panel.

  6. Object Number: 292175  Size: MH
  7. Remove the child seat bolts (2).
  8. Remove the child seat from the seat back.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the child seat to the seat back.

  2. Object Number: 292175  Size: MH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the child seat bolts (2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the child seat bolts to 25 N·m(18 lb ft).

  5. Press the trim onto the panel.

  7. Close the child seat (2).
  8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
  9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
