Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the seat belt buckles.

  3. Object Number: 305160  Size: SH
  4. Remove the center floor console, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and console.
  5. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  6. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement or Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  7. In the sedan only, remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the quarter lower trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement or to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 305160  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Position the carpet in the vehicle.
  2. Install the quarter lower trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement or to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. In the sedan, install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.
  4. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement or to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  6. Install the center floor console if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Install the seat belt buckles.
  8. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement in Front Seats.
