Inspect the A/C - Cruise fuse in the LH IP Accessory Wiring Junction Block.

Is the fuse open?

Test for a short to ground on the ignition positive voltage circuit of the heater - A/C control module. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the LH temperature control actuator motor harness connector.
  2. Use a test lamp connected to B+ to probe the ground circuit to the temperature control actuator motor .

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the heater-A/C control module harness connector C 2.
  2. Use a test lamp connected to B+ to probe the ground circuit to the heater-A/C control module .

Test for a loose connection or an open in the ground circuit to the temperature control actuator . Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
  2. Use a test lamp connected to ground to probe the ignition positive voltage circuit of the heater-A/C control module.

Does the test lamp light?

Test for a loose connection or an open on the heater-A/C control module ground circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test for a loose connection or an open on the ignition positive voltage circuit of the heater-A/C control module. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the LH temperature control actuator motor harness connector
  2. Test for a short to ground on the ignition positive voltage circuit of the temperature control actuator motor. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the RH temperature control actuator motor harness connector.
  2. Test for a short to ground on the ignition positive voltage circuit of the RH temperature control actuator motor. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect the cruise control module harness connector.
  2. Test for a short to ground on the ignition positive voltage circuit of the cruise control module. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
