• | Correct battery installation |
• | Correct battery terminal installation |
• | Correct battery cable installation |
• | Clean and tight ground connections |
• | Excessive battery terminal corrosion |
• | Cracking or other damage |
• | Correct battery voltage |
• | The battery hydrometer displays a green dot |
• | The generator wiring for damage or poor connections |
• | Correctly torqued generator mounting bolts |
• | Correct drive belt installation |

• | The battery is installed correctly. |
• | The battery terminals are installed correctly. |
• | The battery cables are installed correctly. |
• | The ground connections are clean and tight. |
• | The battery terminals are clean and tight. |
• | The battery is not physically damaged. |
• | Battery voltage is approximately 11.5-13.0 volts. |
• | The battery hydrometer displays a green dot. |
• | The wiring is in serviceable condition. |
• | The generator is mounted correctly. |
• | The drive belt is installed correctly. |

• | Clean, tighten or repair the wiring and connections as necessary.
