•	Brake Assist System Description and Operation

•	Disc Brake System Description and Operation in Disc Brakes

•	Drum Brake System Description and Operation in Drum Brakes

•	Park Brake System Description and Operation in Park Brake

•	ABS Description and Operation in Antilock Brake System

•	Inspect for aftermarket devices which may affect the operation of the Brake Warning System. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories in Wiring Systems.

•	Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which may cause the symptom.

Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.
